Hey guys, I don’t know about you, but I cannot see Blake Lively the same way after the dramatic climax end to the saga between her and Justin Baldoni. Obviously everyone knows that Blake and Justin settled their lawsuit before going to scheduled trial. That is without a doubt kind of a massive loss to Blake Lively right? She was so vocal about wanting to prove her case. Well, she settled before the trial means she and her team didn’t have much confidence in their case right?

Then came the humiliating demand for the legal cost. According to the Dailymail “”Blake Lively will receive $400,000 in legal fees from Justin Baldoni in their bitter court battle – after demanding an eye-watering $8 million following their bombshell settlement.” Everything is written with massive headline slapping in front of our eyes from online newspapers, YouTube channels and papers. In another word, everyone knows because majority will read and hear it. Who demanded $8 million in legal cost and was awarded $400,000? Didn’t they do research before submitting their papers? It’s so embarrassing.  

From outsider’s perspective, everything happened in this case is questionable? Why did she decide to go ahead with her lawsuit is unthinkable. God knows what was going on in their household.

I know many people have invested so much in this case. I have read and heard from different people online and offline. Majority had decided which side they was on from the get-go. I was giving her a “let’s see if she can prove” at the beginning. However, the moment that Justin Baldoni’s website with all the documents laid bare for people to make their own judgement, I was already in Justin’s camp. The more the saga stretched, the more annoying I felt and kept questioning “when Blake will drop her case?” not because did I not have any faith in her case, I thought the longer she held on this case, the worse it got for her brand image.

• Think about it, if a case takes a year to progress, between this time, people will dig up stuffs and find out more stuffs to talk about right? It did happen exactly like that. We knew so much more details about Blake and her powerful friends as the documents were unfolded. It wasn’t good for Blake’s image.
• Who would like to work with her if she was involved in an active lawsuit? Especially the matter was about workplace environment in Hollywood?  Just a common sense here, I think people would steer away from someone who is bringing so much attention to the sensitive subject surrounding making movies. If she have had so many projects in waiting, this is big mistakes in my opinion to go down this path, especially if they know the TRUTH all that time which is it was not a strong case.
• Lawsuit is a long process and costly. I know Blake and Ryan are rich. However, they have met their match because team Justin also has a billionaire to back up. If they knew their case was not strong, I would not have gone all in like that. If her legal fees were that high $8 million and she was awarded only $400,000, it just added worse vibe to her already damaged brand.

As I have stated earlier, I cannot look at Blake Lively and see any good things other than the ended drama. Before the lawsuit, I was not a massive fan but nothing against her neither. She looks good in clothes. She appears here and there and I still watch her stuffs. Now, after that settlement with Justin Baldoni, I think her acting career has just ended as well, in my opinion.  She is not that young anymore and there are many younger and talented actresses in Hollywood. I think movie lovers will not miss if she doesn’t star in any movies or TV series at all. If anyone casts her in their projects, I assume, you don’t need me to remind you to be careful neither.

The question is do you think Blake Lively regrets bringing the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni? Perhaps along the way, maybe yes? Who knows?  The lawsuit that nobody needed and satisfied no one?
