It’s no doubt these kids have their gigs with big brands thank to their super famous parents. To me, it’s OK if they have these opportunities because of their parents’ connections. Life is unfair anyways. If you are convinced the other way around, you probably belong to the lucky group. Good for you.
Frankly, I don’t like to talk much about youth and young people who is still navigating though their life. However, nepo babies are kind of different in terms of the privileged life they have. There are many rich kids out there thanks to their parents. Celebrities’ kids are another level of privileges. It’s understandable that many people at young age usually love to be in the spotlight. Especially thanks to the social media nowadays. Influencers are everywhere. Everyone has a damn podcast and being influencer. Although many takes a long time to achieve success. Celebrities’ kids are already fortunate thank to their famous parents. Hence, opportunities and connections come naturally to them. Hence the resentment from society or in another words, harder critics.
We generally like to see and hear those feel good stories about who work hard and achieve success based on their talents, don’t we? I actually don’t mind seeing those celebrities’ children do the stuffs that were offered to them. However, at the end of the day I will make a decision whether they are doing well or not. Do they have that X factor or they don’t at all? And so far I am not convinced that Sunday has a striking model look nor Cruz has a voice of an angel. There are no doubt that their parents are talented and adored by many people because of their talents. Those love for their parents do not pass down automatically to their children. Frankly, it is simply because people don’t see the children’s talents yet in the professions that they have chosen so far. Majority are not impressed with what these kids bring to the table. Nothing special or extraordinary to separate these famous kids from regular folks. And yet here they are again and again because of their privilege. That’s what annoying people probably.
I have read many reviews and comments regarding their appearances at those big events. There are many harsh critics out there. Would these young ladies and gentlemen make it successful at a later date? Perhaps yes if they keep pushing them in front of us or splashing over media everywhere. Sooner or later they will make it and have fans here and there. However for a longer terms, talent is indeed needed to stay. As for now, we simply would like to see them less, to be honest.
