Sandra Bullock shared a heart-warming open love letter to her sister Gesine that will make your hart melt.  She shared a photo of her sister at one of the screenings of Practical Magic 2 and a precious photo when they were little as well.  “I’, so lucky I get to call you my sister. I love you more than words can say.”

We have seen this cake in promotional videos for Practical Magic 2 movie. Did you know that the beautiful chocolate with embellished flowers was made by Sandra’s sister Gesine? Gesine made this cake for Diane Wiest. Sandra shared this detail in her letter. She called this cake “Jet’s, jet black chocolate cake” “And that yummy, “Jet’s, jet black chocolate cake” in the film was created by Gesine for Diane.“

“A love letter to my very own North Star.

This film is about sisterhood and the filmmakers and I wanted to dedicate it to each of our sisters. For me, that meant dedicating it to my sister, Gesine. Through every chapter, and every chaotic “idea” I had, to every “whoopsie” I made, she has been there patiently waiting for me to “finish up”. Growing up beside me, reminding me who I am, and somehow always knowing telepathically when I needed her. I was the Gilly to her steadfast Sally, then and forever.  

And that yummy, “Jet’s, jet black chocolate cake” in the film was created by Gesine for Diane.
